How Apologies are like Sweaters
Apologies don’t really change anything. Things are the way they are and being sorry about them might make people feel better for a little while, but in the end the past is the past, and what’s ahead of you time will tell.
The thing about a sweater is it keeps you warm while you’re wearing it but it doesn’t make you forget that you were cold when you put it on and that you’ll still be cold when you take it off. It’s only okay for now. But it looks a lot cooler than a parka and you don’t have to shiver.
