I’m sorry you never got a chance to get to know me for who I really am and not just what other people say about me. It’s really a great loss. We could have been friends. You’re friends with my friends, and not with me? These are people I have known for years. You’re a sophomore. You still have a lot to learn about how we do things.
It’s not that, as you say, I don’t like you very much. I like you fine. What you do and how you do it is what gets me. You’re friendly enough. In fact, when you’re around, I let you have control, because I’m anti-social by nature. I can talk, at most, with three people at a time. You appeal to practically everyone and talk to everyone. Why you can’t include me in everyone, I don’t know.
You wouldn’t be my friend by choice. You’d be a friend of situation, of necessity.
But that should at least count for something.
